Key Fitch Co-Owner – Circle The Sun Fitness
Key Fitch has lived the life of an entrepreneur for over 25 years and in various capacities. For 10 years, she owned Key 2 Life Training, LLC also known as The Pink Powerhouse; Manatee County’s premiere ALL FEMALE fully equipped training & cycling facility. While in this position, the studio was named The Best in Bradenton in Education for 8 straight years, was 2018 Manasota Black Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year, and Manatee Chamber of Commerce’s 2019 Small Business of the Year Finalist. The studio was also recognized by Manatee Chamber of Commerce’s Better Business Council.

Key closed the doors of Key 2 Life Training in February 2022, and began preparations to start two new different ventures at the same time. In October 2021, she started Ladies’ Shot Bartending, LLC which is a mobile bartending company that services the Sarasota, Bradenton, St. Pete, and Tampa Bay areas. In October 2022, she and her business partner celebrated the grand opening of Circle The Sun Fitness, which is Sarasota’s newest 10,000 sq ft 24 hour health club that provides fitness services and amenities for the entire family.

Key is a chemical engineer by training and has worked on various engineering projects in Michigan, California, and TX. Although Key found those projects mentally stimulating and rewarding, she has truly found her calling as an entrepreneur and in business development with bringing new business ideas from conception to reality. She has a masters in chemical engineering and holds certifications as a personal trainer, sports nutritionist, running coach, seniors fitness instructor, spin instructor, group fitness instructor, and as a bartender. She is also a 3x TEAM USA duathlete, winning the bronze medal in the 2015 USAT national championship, and has traveled and competed in multiple international duathlon races throughout the years (as part of the US national team). She is a 28 year member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc and is mom to two amazing sons; Kai who is a Junior at Howard University, and Jordan, who is serving his country in the United States Air Force.
