Toni Coleman Entrepreneur - TNT’S Beauty and Barber Salon
Toni Coleman has been a liscensed Cosmetologist of 35 years. She started her career in her hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She has been married for 30 years to Selwyn Coleman and is the proud mother of two adult daughters; Ashley and Bianca and agrand daughter (Neveah). Toni and her family moved to Bradenton, Florida in December 1989. There isn’t a day in which she regrets the decision to relocate. Toni is a long-time member of Church of the Crossing Bradenton, Florida. Coleman is a founding partner of TnT’s Beauty and Barber Salon; a long standing community business located in Palmetto, Florida. It is in this capacity which allows her to have a positive impact on the lives of thousands in the surrounding communities, including the youth and elderly residents. Coleman’s expanding expertise in servicing the “whole person” has lended itself seamlessly to other business ventures and philantropic endevors; Interior Design and Personal
Shopper/Stylist, Mentor, Child Advocate for AMI Kids Manatee, Big Brother Bis Sister and City Council Board Member for Step Up Suncoast Headstart. Coleman has been a Mentor and Child Advocate at AMI Kids Manatee, where she earned the award for “Mentor of the Year”. The Manasota Black Chamber of Commerce recognized Coleman as their “2019 Mover and Shaker”. In 2016, Palmetto Youth Center recognized TnT’s Beauty and Barber Salon as the “Martin Luther King Jr.’s Small Business of the Year”.
Coleman’s success is attributed to her commitment, consistency, respectful and equitable approach, and ability to establish trust with the mentees. Her love for the boys at AMI Kids Manatee is undeniable. Her primary focus is to leave a lasting impression on their lives making an impact one child at a time.
